She handled the treatments bravely and recovered well. So far, there has been no sign of the tumor returning at the original site.<br \/><br \/>Second course (started in September):<br \/>After finishing her initial treatment, Salad developed a new soft tissue sarcoma on her left forelimb. The tumor was surgically removed in June but unfortunately recurred along the surgical scar in August. She then underwent a second surgery, followed by another course of radiation therapy starting in September to reduce the risk of it coming back again. Short-term follow-up has been positive, with no current evidence of tumor regrowth.<br \/><br \/>We are deeply grateful to oncologist Dr. Andrea Mosca for his exceptional care of Salad and for the trust he placed in us through this referral.<br \/><br \/>Next, Salad will continue with regular check-ups to keep her health on track.
