That\u2019s nearly double the survival rate typically achieved with chemotherapy alone.<br \/><br \/>While the data are still early and not yet as extensive as chemotherapy research, chemotherapy remains the first-line treatment. However, radiotherapy is emerging as a powerful tool to extend survival.<br \/><br \/>Importantly, HBI is not meant to replace chemotherapy \u2014 it can be added on top of it.<br \/><br \/>Think of it as a boost.
