Normal activities together, like petting, hugging, and kissing, are all safe if your dog or cat is undergoing chemotherapy.<\/p><p>However, for the<strong> first 72 hours<\/strong> after treatment, you should be careful with excretions such as <strong>urine<\/strong>, <strong>feces<\/strong>, and <strong>vomit<\/strong>. Small amounts of the chemotherapy are excreted as <strong>metabolites<\/strong>\ud83d\udc15.
