Unfortunately, in white cats, prolonged exposure to high levels of ultraviolet (UV) radiation can result in the development of tumors in areas such as the eyelids, ears, and nose tip. These tumors typically start as small, benign growths that do not usually spread to other parts of the body (metastasize). However, if left untreated over time, they can progress into painful and aggressive lesions.<\/p><p>Fortunately, Blacky&#8217;s owner took prompt action and brought him to the veterinarian. Blacky received a treatment known as electrochemotherapy, which is a localized therapy option for early-stage tumors when surgical removal is not feasible. After undergoing this treatment once, Blacky&#8217;s carcinoma has already shown signs of reduction.<\/p><p>Here are some key points regarding Blacky&#8217;s condition and treatment:<\/p><p>\ud83d\udd05Blacky had an ulcerative tumor on the right side (left in the image) and early neoplastic transformation on the left side of his nose.<\/p><p>\ud83d\udd05Following electrochemotherapy, a protective crust forms over the treated area.
