After a thorough examination by our Specialist in Oncology,\u00a0Dr. Antonio Giuliano, it was found that the tumour was stage IV with invasion of the cribriform plate and possible brain\ud83e\udde0.\u00a0<\/p><p>The Harvest Veterinary Oncology Centre (HVOC) oncology team devised a radiation therapy (RT) regimen for Ar-Jill, consisting of six sessions administered twice weekly in combination with concurrent low-dose carboplatin chemotherapy as a radiosensitiser. This treatment strategy carefully balanced therapeutic benefits with the tolerance of an elderly dog, aiming for the best possible outcome.<\/p><p><strong>Significant Recovery &amp; Follow-up Results<\/strong><\/p><p>With the owner\u2019s dedicated care and cooperation, Ar-Jill showed remarkable improvement. During the follow-up examination two weeks post-treatment, the owner reported encouraging progress\ud83d\udc4c.
