Duck Jai, a 15-year-old British Shorthair, was diagnosed with large-cell intestinal lymphoma back in December 2020.
At the time, his condition was severe, experiencing vomiting, appetite loss, significant weight loss, and anaemia from intestinal bleeding.

Under the care of Specialist in Veterinary Oncology, Dr. Antonio Giuliano, a treatment plan was initiated. Duck Jai’s owner chose to proceed with the COVP chemotherapy protocol, a multi-agent regimen specifically designed by Dr. Antonio.

His appetite and weight rebounded couple of weeks after starting the treatment.
He completed the full course by June 2021 and responded exceptionally well with no side effects.
Since then, he has remained in stable remission.
At his most recent check-up in January 2026, Duck Jai was bright, well and active, and showed no signs of cancer recurrence, continuing to thrive five years after his diagnosis.
Seeing his journey from those difficult early days to now is truly heartwarming. We wish him many more healthy, happy years ahead
