Dr. Stephanie Johnnides
BSc, DVM, DACVECC
Dr. Johnnides is a graduate of Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a rotating medical and surgical internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialists in New York, and went on to complete a rigorous, 3-year Emergency and Critical Care residency at the Animal Emergency Center in Glendale, Wisconsin.
Dr. Johnnides is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. She has completed additional training in extracorporeal modalities and is a graduate of the University of California at Davis Hemodialysis Academy. These extracorporeal therapies include hemodialysis (HD), hemoperfusion (HP) and total plasma exchange (TPE). Dr. Johnnides established the Emergency and Critical Care Departments at the City University Veterinary Medical Centre, previously the largest specialist Centre in Hong Kong. Dr. Johnnides works collaboratively with the HVSEH specialist team to provide all-encompassing patient care. Some of Stephanie’s special interests include emergency assessment & triage, management of SIRS, sepsis and septic shock, acute intoxications, and extracorporeal therapies.
