Here at our hospital, we believe in honouring every step of a patient’s journey toward comfort and healing. Today, we want to share the story of Dau Fa, a 10-year-old French Bulldog who faced a significant challenge with remarkable resilience spirit.
Dau Fa was diagnosed with a large, inoperable heart-based tumour, a suspected chemodectoma which was causing vena cava syndrome. These types of tumours may grow in critical structures of the heart, making treatment especially challenging.
Under the expert care of Specialist in Oncology Dr. Antonio Giuliano, a comprehensive treatment plan was developed. It centred on Stereotactic Radiation Therapy (SRT), a highly targeted technique designed to treat the tumour with exceptional precision while minimising impact on surrounding healthy tissue.
Dau Fa underwent a carefully planned three-session SRT protocol. Despite the complexity of her condition, she handled each treatment smoothly and bravely.

At her final recheck, Dau Fa condition was good, with no complications. We’re proud to be part of Dau Fa’s story, and we look forward to seeing her continue to thrive under the loving care of her family.
