Case Sharing – Myxomatous Mitral Valve Disease | JoJo
JoJo 是一隻 11 歲的貴婦狗。牠因為有心雜音和咳嗽的症狀，而前來豐盈動物專科及急症醫院就診。 常見於中年至老年的小型犬的心臟疾病 心電圖檢查顯示牠患有黏液性二尖瓣疾病。這種疾病非常常見，任何狗都可能受到影響，常見於中年至老年的小型犬。 二尖瓣倒流 患有此疾病時，會出現二尖瓣倒流（即二尖瓣有滲漏）。二尖瓣位於兩個左側心腔之間，左心房首先接收來自肺部的血液，然後左心室將這些血液泵送到身體其他部位。隨著時間的過去，持續滲漏除了會導致這些腔室擴大，亦會使心臟內的壓力增加，繼而在肺部的血管中積聚，有機會導致肺水腫（當液體從血管中溢出並積聚在肺組織中時，會導致呼吸困難，有時伴隨咳嗽）。 JoJo 的胸腔 X 光片顯示牠患有肺水腫，因此心臟專科獸醫Dr. Samantha Gomart為牠處方幫助清除肺內液體的藥物。JoJo於一週後再次回到豐盈動物專科及急症醫院覆診，以了解藥物的成效，並考慮是否有需要調整藥物劑量。JoJo的家長向我們報告，牠咳嗽情況有所改善，而覆診當天的X 光片證實肺水腫已消退。牠用藥後，現在病情穩定。 了解我們的心臟科服務
