We are excited to welcome Dr. Antonio Giuliano to our team at Harvest Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital (HVSEH).
Dr. Antonio Giuliano graduated cum laude (with honours) from the Veterinary University of Messina, Italy, in 2007. While working in general practice, he completed a master’s degree in Small Animal Oncology from the University of Pisa, a Postgraduate Certificate in Cancer Therapy (PgCert(CT)) at Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London, and a General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Medicine (GPCert (SAM)) at the European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies.
Dr. Antonio completed a rotating internship in a referral hospital and subsequently an oncology internship and residency at the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital (QVSH) at the University of Cambridge in the UK. After completing the residency, he worked for one year as a clinician in small animal oncology at the QVSH. For the past five years, he worked as a Specialist in Oncology at CityU Veterinary Medical Centre (VMC) and as an Associate Professor in Small Animal Oncology at the Department of Veterinary Science, JCC College of Veterinary Medicine, CityU.
Dr. Antonio Giuliano is a recognized Specialist in Veterinary Oncology of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM), European Board of Veterinary Specialisation (EBVS), Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and Asian College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (AiCVIM). He is an editor of the Scientific Veterinary Journals, Frontiers in Veterinary Medicine, and BMC Veterinary Research. He is also a member of the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) oncology committee and the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM) final exam committee.
Dr. Antonio has achieved certifications in immunotherapy and continued education in nutrition, as well as alternative and integrative cancer treatment. He has published over 40 scientific articles in various international peer-reviewed journals and presented his clinical experiences and research at many international conferences.
