After obtaining her undergraduate degree in veterinary science at the University of Sydney in 2002, she worked as a veterinarian at the Mount Pleasant Veterinary Group in Singapore for about two years before returning to Hong Kong to continue her career. She has since been practising in Hong Kong. Her areas of interest include feline medicine, canine medicine, and exotic small mammals.

She obtained her Master’s Degree in Small Animal Practice from Murdoch University in 2014. In the following year, she became a member of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinarian Scientists in Small Animal Medicine by examination.

In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, movies, and spending time with her animal family which currently consists of five cats and two terrapins.
