Dr. Patrick Lu graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2023. Before moving to Hong Kong, he spent two years working in general practice in Cardiff and Manchester, where he further developed his skills in delivering compassionate, contextualised veterinary care for small animals.

Throughout the early stage of Dr. Patrick’s career, he became especially interested in emergency and critical care, surgery, and neurology. Dr. Patrick is excited to join HVOC and HVSEH, where he looks forward to exploring other aspects and continuing his development as a well-rounded veterinarian.

Dr. Patrick also loves small furries and exotic animals. During vet school, he owned four Mongolian gerbils and often extended his passion by pet-sitting guinea pigs for other owners.
