Nausea can pose a challenge when identifying symptoms in your animal🤕. It’s often marked by a poor or decreased appetite, or general changes in eating habits. Your animal might become pickier, preferring only treats or tasty people food. At times, they may drool when offered food but refuse to eat.
Here’s what you should do if you suspect your animal is feeling sick:
- Avoid feeding your animal.
- Offer ice cubes periodically throughout the day.
- Administer anti-nausea medication as prescribed.
- After half a day, start giving small amounts of food every few hours instead of one large meal.
- If the situation doesn’t improve after 24 hours, contact your vet.
