Ngau Nai Jai- Thymic Carcinoma

More than one year ago Ngau Nai Jai came to Harvest Veterinary Oncology Centre (HVOC) for investigation of a breathing problem. A CT scan revealed a large mass in the chest, later diagnosed as thymic carcinoma, along with pulmonary nodules.

Under the attentive and professional care of our dedicated Specialist Oncology team, Ngau Nai Jai underwent hypo-fractionated radiation therapy (a total of 6 treatments) to target the primary mass. This was followed by several cycles of chemotherapy (Carboplatin) to address any potential spread.

His latest CT scan in September 2025 brought great news — no visible cancer left and no spread of the cancer. With the cancer no longer visible, our medical team decided to pause chemo and keep a close eye with regular check-ups. Proud of this little fighter💪!
