Dr. Eric is our Veterinary Surgeon Director, handling the general practice and oncology departments. He was born and grew up in Malaysia. After finishing 12 years of education in Malaysia, he moved to Taiwan, enrolled National Taiwan University, and obtained his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1999.

After becoming a veterinarian, he moved forwards to seek the peak in his profession, co-founding Harvest Veterinary Oncology Centre, Heung Wo Animal Medical Centre, Heung Wo Exotic Animal Centre, Heung Wo MRI Centre, Maple Veterinary Hospital, Maple Exotic Animal Centre, Otto Veterinary Centre, and Hong Kong Veterinary Imaging Centre.

He believes veterinarians have a very important role to protect, cure, and deliver hope of health for animals. This is why he has completed continuing education in neurology, ophthalmology, exotic animal medicine and surgery, feline medicine, small animal endoscopy, ultrasound, MRI, CT, PET CT, advanced imaging, total hip replacement, and cruciate disease surgery. Now he is more focused on veterinary oncology, including radiation therapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Veterinary medicine is his career and hobby and is full of adventures and challenges. Regardless, there is no doubt he is happy in his profession and enjoys his work. It is an awesome gift! This happiness gives him the passion to keep moving forwards. That’s his second life!

He likes the ocean breeze, and he relaxes and refreshes his mind by riding jet skis or sailing. During his leisure time, you can find him drifting in the sea.
